    One last thing - there is a Liverpool clone called the Joyo AC Tone - I have just ordered one in the UK for £30 including shipping!

    For that money, it is worth a listen (don't need it but £30?!!) and it gets very good reviews on the net.

    Worth looking at if you can get one where you are....

    My Joyo version turned up today unexpectedly. So, I've got it side by side with the Liverpool and after a bit of tweaking, you can barely tell the difference.

    There are apparently a few sightly different components / values in the Joyo but with so much control over the tone (on both) it is very easy to dial in the sound you want.
